I like how the photo placement makes it seem like the tortise is brushing up on his donkey knowledge.

We had an ice storm over the weekend, and our walk yesterday afternoon was very sparkly.
Today, icicles are falling off of droopy trees.
Smarties. They look like they can hold plants and chew bubble gum at the same time.
you poking around in my yard? /s
what an amazing collection of awesome looking junk yard art!
lovely camelias, too (last pic).
Oh! where’s that? Inman? Candler? Edgewood? Not in town?
That’s a wild looking house, but if anything it does make me wonder what the owner is like
it’s several houses in a row, which raises even more questions. they’ve also done a lot in the median behind these pics.
@mindysan33 Eastlake/Oakhurst. it’s just south of the square on that main street with the median, if that’s helpful at all. I could easily look it up.
Not my picture, its from google maps. I won’t share the location but it’s certainly not easy to find, i drove past it while taking some backroads i never take a while back and it’s just… the gothiest, blackest house i’ve seen and every time i see it makes me wish i lived in a cool place like that
Someone bought a large, empty lot on a corner around the block from us. They built a giant black Victorian - a perfect fit for this Victorian/Edwardian neighborhood - with a huge porch, and what sure look like 10ft high windows. It’s like a Victorian on steroids. I’ll try to get D to take some pics; it’s really something else. Beats hell outta the ugly modern boxes what have been built around here, including the one right across the street from the black house.
Ah! thanks! I have a general idea where that is (sort of between Kirkwood and Decatur?)…
Very cool yards! Thanks for sharing it!
Completely forgot to mention the marvelous porchiness of the black house U posted. Most droolworthy indeed.
