The binocular in the top photo. That may be the most ubiquitous type for its size. I have the exact same pair but under the BARSKA brand, and they may be sold under other brand names too. Perfect little travel binocs.

I’m not sure, but the first article I linked above says:
In 1981, the Blue Lions were formed, which quickly led to the creation of groups such as the Mastiffs, a merger group located in Curva A with the Teste Matte and Carolina Brigade.
So the lion mascot could have come from these Blue Lions, maybe?

My mom loves her, but when I was a kid I didn’t like the way She sang her songs. She screams too much, I used to say. Then, I grow up, listen to her and paid attention to the music.

I loved her the instant I heard her, when I was 2, 3 years old. I thought she sounded magnificent. So different. [ETA She touched my soul in a way that few musicians have. Billie Holiday really gets to me, too.] I was crushed when she died.
