No uptime guarantee. As a current Shaw user, I can say that you can expect roughly 4-6 hours of downtime in any given week because their neighbourhood trunks can’t handle the cold well.
aaaand just like that my router went down. welp.
In Texas I had just the opposite isdue. I ended up having the cable from the pole to the interior jack replaced because the summer heat meant from about 2pm to 6pm I had no internet because the impedence on the line was too high. New cable fixed that for me. Probably wouldn’t help you.
