Public health specialists told ABC News they are skeptical that the curve is flattening and believe that cases linked to the outbreak are not only increasing, but likely much higher than the official case count.
I know nobody wants to listen to the folks who actually know things anymore, but maybe you should!!

Asked Thursday on Fox News about the child who died of measles last week, Kennedy claimed that “she had a lot of complications that could have killed her,” although the Texas health department has noted that neither child had any previously reported underlying conditions.
Kennedy added, “We need to do better at treating kids who have this disease and not just saying the only answer is vaccination.”

Texas’ outbreak began in late January. State health officials said Tuesday there were 24 new cases of measles since Friday, bringing the total to 505 across 21 counties
Kansas has 32 cases in eight counties
Cases in Oklahoma remained steady Tuesday: eight confirmed and two probable cases.
Indiana confirmed six connected cases of measles in Allen County
Measles cases also have been reported in Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont, and Washington.
Worth keeping in mind that this is most certainly an undercount. Virginia has ducked it so far, but not sure how long that will keep up…

I guess the algorithm has figured out that I have been looking at articles about measles and vaccines.
I didn’t know West Virginia was one of the few states that doesn’t have a religious exemption for vaccines.
And it looks like it’s going to stay that way for at least a little bit longer. The West Virginia House of Representatives roundly rejected a bill that would allow for vaccine exemptions based upon religion. The Senate then tried to shoehorn it into a bill about testing and reporting of alpha gal as an amendment.
That amendment has been withdrawn
I believe the ongoing and increasing outbreak in Texas probably played a large part in this
I really hope that the bills attempting to loosen the requirements to obtain a vaccine exemption in Texas are also defeated this year
