While, yes, the symbol has connotations attached to it, the very fact he won’t get it tattooed on says a lot about the permanency of his views.
“I don’t need the pen this morning, honey, I’m going to the office.”
interesting. i didn’t spot it during the debate, and this is the first i’ve even heard that this was a thing with him. he may be totally telling the truth about why he draws it and his perceived meaning, but now that white supremacists are using it he should immediately stop using it. either way, he’s not getting any vote from me. (i’m not worried about him getting the nomination, either. i wish he’d take his money and spend it on something that does more good. his entire campaign is clearly a vanity project, like donald’s was.)
I observe that the BBC seems to have decided “this is not a thing” is standard English for news stories
That shouldn’t be a thing for decent journalism IMO.
There’s already a counter.
This guy has some good points (I posted a radio interview of him a few days ago in this topic) but I have a feeling he’s actually trying to turn the Democrats into “Republicans 2.0.”
Yup. _
Who’s Pence going to choose as his running mate?
“Vote for us because Trump is bad”.
They already tried that in 2016; it doesn’t work.
A negative campaign won’t cut it. A positive alternative needs to be on offer.
My colleague recently said to me that her 65 year old Republican friend would happily vote Buttigieg, so I should to. And I asked her, do you really think near-dead white Republican men should be the future of the democratic party, or should it be early 30s women?
Rick Wilson is entertaining. But do any of us need to be told to hate Trump?
I just found out there is a “Who Do We Elect This Year,” and a “Who Do We Elect Next Year.”
Oopsie. This is an old thread, and I forgot to edit the title with the new year. And now I have to come up with something better since “…this year?” is taken.
It doesn’t have to be taken. Gimme a minute.
All better now.
Wow! Thank you, that was very kind!
The NYT makes a big deal out of the 45% of “more liberal” preference as an addition of Sanders and Warren.
Now poll independents. Then add 2-3% of Republicans.
How much influence does HRC have with her saying how dreadful Bernie is?
Folks, I need a job - just WRITE MY NAME IN. I’ll distribute ambassadorships and Cabinet-posts accordingly. And whoever votes for me the most times gets to be Postmaster General!
