So who do we elect this year?

A fist bump from…Lindsay Graham?

Yes, if you take out the votes for Biden, then it changes the result of the election. Guiliani has an air-tight argument there.

Okay, one lawn on my street has a sign up for this guy, who lost with no contention about it all; check out his biography:

Now, here’s the man who won; can you see a slight difference in their, um, experience levels?

Hey, maybe we can use the logic. If we just take out all the votes that weren’t for <insert write-in candidate here>, then that person wins, right?

I wonder how many write-in votes there were for, say, Jon Stewart…

Or Bernie Sanders.

I didn’t watch the whole Guiliani press conference (my payments from the Liberal Conspiracy aren’t large enough to sit through that ), but apparently he’s also still going on about the Dominion voting machine conspiracy theory. And they’re basing part of their argument in court, in GA, on it as well.

After there has been a hand-recount that has (reportedly, I don’t think there’s been an official announcement yet) confirmed the accuracy of the machine counting. Which completely blows the conspiracy theory out of the water, in GA at least.

It was in exactly the same place (yellow) as it was several days ago. I think it should be way over to the orange by now. The assholes sure are attempting.

Agree totally. Next time they’ll learn from their mistakes (don’t elect a total incompetent).

FTA:

After Ms. Palmer and Mr. Hartmann initially refused to certify the election results over slight discrepancies in majority-Black precincts, while ignoring similar problems in heavily white areas of the county where Mr. Biden won a far smaller share of the vote, public outcry ensued, with 300 voters and civil rights leaders on a Zoom call expressing outrage.

What pisses me off is that any process with so many variables is going to have errors. There is NO way to avoid it. But if enough ignorant people don’t realize this they can be led by the nose into thinking “by gum, it’s FRAWD!!!”

Semi-Spoiler (don’t FF!): The 5:35 mark. Best Zoom background, too.

I worry that it is too soon to call it “Botched.” Well, completely botched. Certainly the would-be election stealers seem to be having a bit of a hard time of it.

well, if you notice the update for yesterday in the text at the bottom, they say they did consider moving the meter into the orange territory, but wanted to wait to see what happens once certification starts, which will certainly be a clear tipping point one way or the other.

ANYthing can happen - and it usually does! :open_mouth:

Unfortunately, it’s entirely possible that Trump’s campaign asks for a recount as soon as GA certifies the results. Assuming they don’t find some other insanity to pull before certification happens. :man_facepalming:

Keep in mind, presidents aren’t the only ones elected:

This doesn’t end with Trump, regardless of what happens with him. The Cawthornes and the Tom Cottons aren’t going away any time soon, unless people stand up and make them.

I’ll write them a check.
A reality check.
