To be fair, remembering all 16 versions of the ten commandments is hard.
From a different thread:
I thought about that all week, & then this appeared at Slacktivist:
Fuck this. I wonder if this plague will infect the rest of the US government?
Glad I retired 10 years ago. If I still worked at the FDA, I wouldn’t be working at the FDA. I mean, who needs scientists and engineers to review device applications?
Yet the previous Administration engaged in an egregious pattern of targeting peaceful Christians, while ignoring violent, anti-Christian offenses.
CHANG: OK, let’s turn to the Faith Office. I said this executive order establishes, or maybe reestablishes, the office. What would a Faith Office do?
DEROSE: Well, an office like this has existed in the White House since 2001, when George W. Bush established what he called the Office of Faith-based and Community Initiatives. It helped faith-based groups navigate getting government grants to do work like run shelters or refugee resettlement programs. Melissa Rogers headed that office under both Obama and Biden. She says the spirit of the office was bipartisan, and the office had a clear goal.
MELISSA ROGERS: The government does a smart thing when it works with these organizations who know how to bring about change in people’s lives that can be transformational.
DEROSE: It’s worth noting this office was mostly dormant during the first Trump administration.
Ah, I see. So now we’re going to engage in an egregious pattern of targeting peaceful non-Christians, while ignoring violent, pro-Christian offenses
I’ve read that most of churches attacked in US were churches of black communities. I think this administration finally will address the cases of racism.

Yeah right.
Other non-Christians existing is an existential threat Christians, doncha know! /s
(With ‘Christian’ defined increasingly strictly, and by extension ‘non-Christian’ becoming more and more inclusive over time, of course. First it’s “pagans” and “heathens”. Then it’s atheists and Jews. Then it’s Unitarians. Then it’s Catholics.)
Well, DUH, if they don’t like, them then they’re not Christians are they! /s
you really needn’t “/s” that.
your words are true.
Yeah, I know…
It’s interesting to see how different places celebrate the same holiday in different ways…
I was talking to a Jewish colleague, who thought that it was a coincidence that Passover and Easter are around the same time; she was unaware that the Last Supper was a Passover seder.
That, at least, is understandable. But the number of Christians who apparently have no clue Easter is related to Passover is alarming!
