I tend to associate such nice drawn footwear with Edmund Gorey.
Thanks to @zfirphdn for point out to me the Gorey’s first name was actually Edward; though he certainly seemed like an Edmund to me It is a more archaic sounds name, suited to his demeanour. I’ll try to be more correct in the future
I agree
I had a co-worker whose husband’s name was Edmund. She and he had grown up on neighboring farms in Minnesota, and went to school in a one-room school house. She dropped out of school after 8th grade, and married him when she was sixteen IIRC. He was somewhat older than her IIRC. Although she was only about 20 years older than me, they both came from a world that seemed archaic to the rest of us. I did like hearing about her life growing up on the farm, though I didn’t care at all for her very-religious and very-conservative attitudes toward life and politics.
I have no idea how to get back on topic…I, uh…SQUIRREL!!
Typing of archaism, when he felt like it, he sometimes spelled it Eadweard.
They’re so cute !!!
That is a really weird way to spell Edmund. Uh… squizzle!
Crouching Squirrel, Hidden Chipmonk.
Hey! Your squizzle-fu is pretty good!
What is up with Neatorama these days?
Thanks, I couldn’t find the clip!
