How have I not posted this yet!!!
A classic of the SWF era.
I see the resemblance:
Love it.
Every Sunday morning I’m at a friend’s house for coffee, along with the dog.
I give said friend a lift into town each week - he has the dog on his lap.
So a couple of months ago, friend has climbed into the passenger seat and I’ve deposited the dog on his lap.
By the time I get to the driver’s door, BaillieDog has nicked my seat. Stares at me, unmoving.
Says I: “shift over, you’re not driving”.
Pause.
“Not after last time”.
They were on the roof again! Paranoid they’ve found a new way into the attic or we didn’t cover the old way. Went and stared at them for a while after watching them use my red oak to reach the roof. We’ve been intending to trim the oaks, incredibly important to do that when it is cold because of oak wilt. That just went up the priority list.
There were two. One went somewhere and I wish I knew the location. This one went and hid under the solar panels. I also discovered a severed tail while I was outside. Probably the local hawks
Get off my roof! There are perfectly adequate trees everywhere!
If I had the skill I’d make a Sistine Chapel ceiling image out of that (with the squirrel in its rightful place as God).
