The video piece compares Fake London (Ontario) to Utrecht and I find it pretty painful. I’ve lived near both and visited both about as often and the comparison just hurts.

Sadly, we are going the wrong way in Ontario :canada:. Hopefully the issue with bike lanes is more about distracting the voters than anything else.

Huh. That’s apparently from a newspaper from my hometown. Although I didn’t realize it was ever called the Wichita Daily Times. Sadly, its modern descendent is now an online only “newspaper”.

Around here we have Škoda ForCity Smart Artic X34 that have 74+14 seats and 125 standing, Škoda ForCity Smart Artic X54 that have 78 seats and 136 standing and old ones from 70s and 80s Valmet NrI & NrII are actually smaller then that street cart.

There is a small village in the north of Belgium. Doel is its name, and at first glance it is a town like any other: it has a church, a cemetery, a historic windmill - and a nuclear power plant right next to it. But in fact, Doel is anything but normal: Doel is a ghost town. Most of the houses are run down and abandoned - and almost nobody lives here anymore. How did that happen?
