I… don’t know what I’ve just seen. I kinda… liked it?
It was so fun because MerelyGifted and I had independently, simultaneously been writing spoofs concerning massive Gothic novels. When I saw her script for Grave Mood Rings, I was like, “Spooooky!”
It’s a very silly, clever parody of slow-moving 1970s Gothic TV soap operas from the US & Canada.
Thanks for checking it out! It’s our labor of love to slow-moving Gothic soap operas of the 1970s.
Ha – I was typing almost exactly the same response when you were! Spoooooky!
Cross-posting because this should have been here.
Isn’t it nice to be in a place with a familiar user interface?
We do this all the time!
We’re here all week folks! Try the pomegranate pizza & tip your servers well!
…and I’m so very glad you’re here!
I think it’s great to see familiar people. The only anxiety I have is trying to catch up with new comments. Before the kerfuffle there was only a dozen comments a day. Sometimes barely any. It was a bit lonely.
Hey friends! Thanks for inviting me to the new hideout.
Bridge bingo lives on!!!
You will soon get the hang of us chatty buggers.
Not sure where to ask or if it’s being covered previously but is there to be giphy integration at some point on this instance of discourse? Not that it’s essential but some of us don’t have a vast offline library of reation gifs.
Truly it’s the kind of problem I love having!
Realizing that this corner of the net exists and has clearly existed for some time is like finding out there’s a room in my house that I’ve just now realized I could access. Thanks to @Kii and @MerelyGifted for alerting me!
IIRC that costs money. You need to license giphy to use it.
You can always go to melizmatic’s threads and steal some
So glad you’re here!
