thatâs a punch in the gut.
Well, I think it should be, for a father with a job/career/company like that. But also that it should not be for a lot of fathers with other kinds of jobs who take their daughters to work.
itâs just that with the opening of a brand new concentration camp in the 'Glades, i saw DeSantis and child in a future vision of where that place is going.
when i took my young daughter to my work, some 20 years ago, she was bored to tears. daddy just talked on the phone and typed on the computer all day, sometimes going out (with her in tow) to the loud, dirty pressroom floor. she hated the entire experience.
Sorry to hear that, and yeah, I hadnât thought of that contemporary analogue.
The pic was in an old computer folder. I grabbed it from online about 15 years ago.
Art really is in the eye of the beholder, aye?
We went to Letâs Fly in Austin. It was fun. Lots of interactive exhibits. The art installations werenât quite a interesting as the time we visited Wonderspace.
I took a buncha pictures but almost all have my fam in them
My favorite was Mariposa. This huge butterfly made of lights that moves to the classical music. There is a swing below that controls her wings and mats/pillows to lay down underneath to experience her displays. I probably could have spent an hour in there. I also really liked this huge clear balloon with black chalk sticks attached. When it rubbed against the walls, over time it made cool patterns. You could stand underneath and pass the balloon back and forth. There was just enough helium to keep it up in the top area of the room.
Iâd say I donât care how much it costs, but how accurately it reproduces the original artistâs work is important, Van Gogh without the texture and structure of the way he used oil paint is⊠a pale shadow.
my sketches all look like chickens.
