It’s not like he owns resorts or hotels…oh, wait.
Besides the other replies, I would also say that our polling process for these isn’t good. Many of these either use somewhat random online polls, established polling groups, or land line calls, all three of which will miss most of the most recent few generations.
The older, saltier, often but not always more conservative people still are doing the political polls on the phone and watching Fox instead of podcasting with Joe or using social media for 100% of their information.
Ok, then, how about we start with the billionaires first.
Quite So! …and i’d go one notch further: there are now considerably more than just Rasmussen as a ‘polling’ agency who ask you what you want the contracted poll to show prior to their billing. That is, (and i’ll cop to a wee-bit of CT on this), if fox"news", krasnov/putin (and lately CBS news??) want to show that a poll supports their interests then there is a poll available for that, (and likely with a name like “Birmingham University” or some such established sounding name) -sigh-
His best friend seems to be ghosting him.
Here’s a good one.
Later today I will be meeting with, of all people, Jeffrey Goldberg, the Editor of The Atlantic, and the person responsible for many fictional stories about me, including the made-up HOAX on “Suckers and Losers” and, SignalGate, something he was somewhat more “successful” with. Jeffrey is bringing with him Michael Scherer and Ashley Parker, not exactly pro-Trump writers, either, to put it mildly! The story they are writing, they have told my representatives, will be entitled, “The Most Consequential President of this Century.” I am doing this interview out of curiosity, and as a competition with myself, just to see if it’s possible for The Atlantic to be “truthful.” Are they capable of writing a fair story on “TRUMP”? The way I look at it, what can be so bad – I WON!
If I had a 3yo who thought and behaved like this, I would be contacting our pediatrician to figure out what was wrong and how to fix it.
Trumpy: Vlad, STOP!
Putin: Who dis?
Speaking of absurd tariffs…
That’s just an attempt to kill solar energy in the US.
after killing wind power too
Probably, but I also wish he’d hold his breath until people stop being nasty to him.
This is the constant threat in NYC. “You can’t do that! The rich people will leave!”
I heard this invoked most recently regarding congestion pricing.
Somehow they are still here.
Doc, I’m afraid to ask but I have to; is there any feasible to test dairy at home before consumption?
Is there a reliable way to ‘crowd source’ it, or something?
*awaits answer that will not offer much solace…
Look at this picture and remember, according to the official totally-not-falsified medical report, this man is 6’3", 224 lbs.
Not just NYC. It is the perpetual response to raising taxes on the wealthy and on corporations. And it’s just stupid. A) it’s not as easy to move to a low/no tax country as people think. B) unless you renounce American citizenship, you still have to pay taxes here, even if you’re living abroad. C) renouncing citizenship isn’t as easy as some people seem to think, and has other, not-so-pleasant consequences. There’s a reason why there’s really no evidence this ever happens, other than the occasional celebrity.
Briefly, no. Home pasteurization is doable, if inconvenient. I do it as part of the process for yogurt making, but to do it for all my drinking milk would be rough. Sticking to aged cheeses or fermented dairy would make it safer, but not foolproof. Yeah, I don’t have an out for this. And even that is no solution to adulteration. We are headed for a very bad place.
Renouncing citizenship is hard, I did it in 2014 back when it only cost $450 instead of over $2000 like it does today. It’s also a lot of making sure your ducks are in a row for the meeting and you get to have your name published in the federal register’s ‘name and shame’ list as if getting away from shame wasn’t why I wanted to ditch my citizenship in the first place.
