I hope she’ll look into who is taking the sun each night. It usually gets dark around 7:50 pm and now it is disappearing around 8:00 pm.

See the comment above:

Also, we have mainstream media outlets complicit in helping to push the lie that there’s “nothing to see here” or “that person is really boring” so they refuse to do any coverage that doesn’t fit their predefined position.

Sometimes, I wonder what they have to gain by getting people to point their anger in the wrong direction ( maybe helping to remove what little power is left among the Democrats by pushing more of them out of office). They are hell-bent on trying to get the public to believe nobody is pushing back or protesting doesn’t make any difference, so they’ll just stop resisting. I hope it’s possible to do the same thing with those media outlets that is being done to Tesla.

‘Has anyone seen the moon lately? I’ve been looking for 7 days.’

And on the eighth day there was (moon)light.

Well, you have to be either downright evil or thicker than two short planks to support Trump (yeah, and often ‘why not both?’) and she is definitely out-thought by two short planks.

For some people, it’s just a purity test. Democrats aren’t doing exactly what they want, when they want it, so therefore it’s ineffectual. For others, it’s the Brocialist effect of trying to get attention by complaining about the people actually putting in the work while doing nothing themselves. But for most, I think you’ve nailed it. It’s parroting the media in hopelessness in face of fascism instead of figuring out what they actually need to do to help us get out of this mess. They’ve been handed the line from the media that Democrats are useless and perpetuate it without even bothering to examine whether it’s true (it’s not).

There was an episode of that new-ish BBC show about the SAS in WWII where the protagonists are fighting in Italy and meet up to coordinate with the Italian resistance. The Italian resistance combined two completely opposite and unlikely allies - Italian communists and the mafia. But they were fighting side-by-side against the fascists.

Bearing in mind that I despise David Brooks with a white hot searing intensity, he’s actually shown himself to be more useful in fighting American fascism than the people griping about “The Democrats” have been. At least he’s made a call to action, even though it was sprinkled with bothsiderism. At least bothsiderism recognizes that fascism isn’t just a problem, it’s currently the bigger problem. Whereas people who complain about “The Democrats” are just weakening the actual anti-fascism effort.

Why is it that Trump’s goons all write like Zippy the Pinhead, but in a sad rather than funny way?

Zelensky is talking into an abyss, and at the bottom of that abyss is a pile of shit.

On eBay are China seller items (just a few of numerous examples) that need no “tariff cost” shown because it’s so fucking obvious what’s happening (see shipping costs below, far, far above pre-tariff costs). There are also some items from China where the item cost is, for example, $150, yet the shipping cost vastly exceeds the item cost.

Check out the shipping cost from this seller in China.

In the law firm executive order cases, DOJ takes the position that an injunction barring implementation will only be enforceable against the govt agencies named in the complaint. So Perkins Coie just amended its complaint to name all the relevant fed agencies. The case caption is now 40 pages long.

Don’t you pay Pacer per page? Bet DOGE loves that extra fee now (/s)
