For what it’s worth, it was kind of eye opening to try to turn an LLM into Trump and have it give more coherent hallucinatory answers than Trump’s actual answers.
Ummmm … so why wasn’t the question answered as Putin? (Russia, not the USA, is the largest country.)

Still not most white Americans though. So many people with my skin color still think none of this will touch them, and are morally a-ok with the oppression, imprisonment and extermination of everyone else when their only crime is a higher melanin amount.

I was reading the comments on that article, some people were talking about going to Canada if it became necessary.
I can see Canada from my house so I wonder what’s involved in just going to Windsor or Sarnia for a shot.

I was trying to figure out why the administration was casting this as a “hostile, political” act, because surely seeing the tariffs in action would be what they would want to happen, if their goal was really to support US industry? You see something has a tariff, i.e. is foreign made, and you seek out the domestic, tariff-free alternative. Or recognize that there isn’t one.
But of course the goal isn’t really to support US industry (if it was, there would be a whole set of policies to that end), it’s so that Trump can feel powerful - but since he’s also promised Americans that they wouldn’t pay the tariffs, simply acknowledging reality is a “hostile, political” act.
Ah, of course. Don’t want to be seen as an enemy of the state by disproving the delusional proclamations of Dear Leader. Can’t acknowledge that consumers pay tariffs, even as it’s obvious…
