The main thing to remember about this Musk-Trump fight is that the Republican bill will bounce 16 million people off of Medicaid and collapse rural hospitals in order to give the biggest tax cut in history to people making more than four million bucks.

I don’t think the legendary iota of difference is actually that important for that question and there were many other interpretations both before and after that (say for example Docetism where IIRC Jesus was born and instantly adopted by god and became perfect, or some of the Cathars (or “good Christians” as they called themselves) or other gnostics who tied themselves up in knots about perfection and actually having a human woman give birth to him (ew, obviously, from their perspective). But most Christians settled on the fact of Jesus’s humanity being an important bridge to return humans to god. His ability to suffer, and to otherwise err from perfection, is therefore key.
The weird cults that USian Christians have can all pass through the eye of a needle as far as I’m concerned. They are Humpty Dumpty christians: Christianity means whatever they want it to mean in any situation so that it allows them to do what they want to do. No more and no less.
Revisiting the Arean controversy as if it were relevant to them is pointless.

, I missed the news that a wrongfully deported person was returned to the US:
So, the administration proved it is able to bring deported people back - although they’ll probably continue to claim they are too weak / have no power to do that for those incarcerated in other countries.

The code, using outdated and inexpensive AI models, produced results with glaring mistakes. For instance, it hallucinated the size of contracts, frequently misreading them and inflating their value. It concluded more than a thousand were each worth $34 million, when in fact some were for as little as $35,000.
Since the Orange Menace hates vets anyway, this should come as no surprise. The fact that the VA refuses to say what contracts are being targeted, even to Congress, is concerning. (But also pretty much on par, honestly.)

I’m a little on the fence about this idea - on the one hand, both Musk and Trump wanted some distance between them (Musk being the most unpopular part of the administration, and Musk seemingly believing that if he stopped being openly involved in DOGE, his businesses might bounce back). On the other hand, Musk and Trump are wounded narcissists with very poor impulse control, who routinely air their grievances with public attacks, and who said some things that can’t be taken back.
I rather suspect, however, whatever the reality here, it’s not going to amount to much. As much as I’m hoping to see Musk get deported and SpaceX nationalized, I don’t remotely think either will happen. Hell, I’m not convinced that Musk will stop giving money to MAGA candidates and causes. And the feud, if real, may be over - Musk already is indicating he’s regretting the blow-up in tweets this morning.
