Huh.
TBH, I think of the theories that T**** is in the Epstein Files much the same as I think of the theories about the peepee tape. Itâs not anything thatâs going to bring him down.
That said, this is looking more and more like a poorly-executed cover up. I donât think T**** is in the files. I think he put the word out to wealthy and powerful people who are in the files, and theyâve bribed him to bury it. Thatâs much more his thing.
Private industry would basically be⌠SpaceX. That makes me wonder when this was decided, and if theyâve thought about it since, given⌠everything. Or if itâs just more unthinking destruction of the federal government, without any consideration or concern about what it would do, in which case, the intent is to just break it. (Actually, that seems more likely - itâs not like private industry will do anything but launch satellites. Theyâre not going to take over the science bits.)

Thank you for blurring that!
Maybe. Iâm dubious. I think Epstein killed himself. People facing charges involving sex with, and trafficking, minors . . . itâs not unheard of at all for them to kill themselves. I think a valid question might be why wasnât he under a suicide watch, but I donât think he was murdered.
I also doubt there are detailed records of his clients. Why? Because of who his clients were. He would have really had to establish trust with these people somehow. They would have wanted reassurances that he didnât have a client list. In short . . .
I donât think Epstein kept a written client list because I donât think he could have built that clientele if he did.
I think people like Kash Patel and Dan Bongino used peopleâs tendency to believe there was a list as part of their grift on social media before becoming a part of the Administration. Hell, they may have even sincerely believed it themselves. And then they continued the lies after getting in there, jumping the gun more than a little and promising that the list was going to be released. Bondi even lied and said it was on her desk. I think she was full of shit. I think she had the Justice Departmentâs files on Epstein on her desk and she just assumed a client list was going to be in there. And then it wasnât. And then they all got real quiet about it all, hoping people would forget and the whole thing would go away. But that didnât work, and now you have Patel and Bongino out there saying âthereâs no listâ as if thatâs something theyâve always said, because this is the standard authoritarian approach. Pretend what youâre saying now is what youâve always said, and accusing anyone who says different of lying. I think this is the simplest explanation for all of what we know has happened. Occamâs Razor.
Except that we have plenty of documentation of him being close friends with Epstein for years and years. The pee-pee tape was always some fake nonsense, but this is far more plausible, I think, given the public record of their connection. We DO know that Trump was in his little Black book, as thatâs long been in the public domain. We also know Trump is a rapistâŚ
agreed.
Yeah, I guess thatâs a good point.
Which makes me think that their âfeudâ is basically kayfabeâŚ
I think thereâs a difference between keeping a client list and keeping kompromat. I would not be at all surprised at that.
Very true⌠I think itâs very plausible that Bondi is sitting on something for Trump, thoughâŚ
I donât know. I wouldnât be surprised if there was a list, which he used to protect himself from the ultra powerful while at the same time earning their trust through scrupulous discretion and confidentiality.
At the minimum he would have had a list of phone numbers and calls (a la the DC Madam) that could cast suspicion on people. For example, Melinda Gates cited Billâs association with Epstein as a significant contributor to their divorce.
