Anyone who knows anything about medicine knows that childhood vaccines are anything but a profit-taking endeavor. Most are break-even at best, and are low priority items for the manufacturers. This has led to repeated shortages when a single line has to shut down for any of a variety of reasons, usually related to "ancient and poorly maintained, because “why would we sink money into that?” This just lets him and Il Douche appoint all their science-denying cronies and gut the national vaccine program. “Do your own research” is terrible advice anyway, but if you remove the ability to apply the results, it’s not really advice. It’s just more “You have every right in the world to agree with me, but that’s it.” IOW, fascism.

American’s were healthier relative to much of the rest of the world back then I guess.
American health has declined relative to much of the world since then it is true. So while US life expectancy is higher, other countries have outpaced the US, and at much lower expenditure on health.
Vaccines aren’t what you (Kennedy, not you Krazy Katt!) are spending money on that you aren’t getting your money’s worth from. Health insurance, administration, and shit like opioids on the other hand…
