People like to say we live in unprecedented times. The Trump administration is pushing the boundaries of FA and I don’t think we can be sure how the FO will go when things finally get to that. Donald might have died of natural causes by then but no promises for his accomplices.

Isn’t this shit awful enough without more doomsaying being piled on top? This forum is not comprised of people who haven’t been paying attention for the past 16 years; there’s no need to keep beating the doomy drum over and over again in an attempt to enlighten us. All that accomplishes is more anger, more frustration, and more sadness among The Good Guys! That is assuredly not wisdom.
We need to increase our strength, not be sapped by depressing AF shit.

America does have genuinely terrible precedents. Davis and his gang of traitors should have been hung, by the standards of their time. Nixon should have been imprisoned. Bush II should have had something, and of course Trump should have been prevented from running for office. That’s why things have gotten so bad.
But they can’t keep getting worse forever. And Trump isn’t going so hard and fast just because he likes showing off his power. He’s doing it because even he can see the cracks happening.

What? I thought all undocumented immigrants were handed a driver’s license as soon as they announced they were here.
The teen was asked to provide his driver’s license but only had a City of Detroit identification card. Michigan does not currently issue driver’s licenses to undocumented immigrants.

i confess that i had a stupid notion based on the masked/no-ID ICE troglodytes: what if they were confronted by a large opposing crowd of people dressed as masked ICE agents who quickly integrated with them, shouting all sorts of conflicting directives (“Look out, he’s a fake!” pointing at any of the originals). yeah… something would go terribly wrong… but it still remains a viable notion at least to the criminal class -sigh- :
