Zoteo is doing a livestream, too…
Well, I suppose speaking for less than 5 minutes would help with his issues speaking.
Surrender to whom?! Israel? The US? Do these asshats not understand what it means to try and run a country hostile to its occupiers?
Now I wonder if the Palestinian genocide was just a move to clear a threat to Israel so they could drag the entire world into a useless war
He gave a shout out to God.
I did. He barely got thru it. He’s sundowning. Had that emotion free drone he has when reading from a teleprompter.
Restrained himself from breaking into a rant about JB, BO and HRC.
And of course the press will pivot and forget all about the shit ICE is doing to Americans and brown people.
Yeah… no… I’m sure they think that where everyone else failed, they’ll be able to do it very easy… They really do seem to believe that the majority of Iranians are eager to see their country torn apart just to be rid of the current government. they just think it’s a case of just being tougher and that’ll do it. They have no use for the history of these kinds of things, because they just believe that they know better…
I don’t know… could be. Certainly, some factions on the far right believe that a third world war is necessary for their apocalyptic aims.
I fucking hope not.
Here is Rachel Maddow…
I did. It was a waste of time — a few minutes long, filled with bluster, and thanking God at the end in about the weirdest way possible.

Trump: I just want to thank everyone—in particular, God. We love you God.
The only thing it had going for it was that it was mercifully short.
That’s about my limit for him!
Spencer Ackerman posted something about this just now.
There are several very good reasons that no US president, including warmongers Reagan, Bush 1, and Bush 2, has engaged in direct military action against Iran despite decades of animosity following the 1979 revolution. Among them:
- Iran’s population is 92 million, about double that of Iraq.
- Iran is a huge country, with a land mass more than three times the size of France.
- They have relatively advanced technology and a very capable, huge military. Nearly 1,000,000 military personnel, making it the largest in the Middle East.
To some people the first few days of the last war in Iraq seemed like a huge triumph that proved all the detractors wrong. I can’t say for sure exactly what happens next here but I’m pretty damn confident that this will not end well.
As soon as he said “Two weeks”, I thought “Nah; he’s going to bomb them really, really soon”.
What are they chanting? I can’t tell.
Unsure… something like no more war, maybe?
A certain process to follow?

And in case that wasn’t enough of a tell, he also gloated that nobody knew what he was thinking, which is the sort of thing you might say if you were planning a sneak attack in a really poorly written movie.
