I think it would be beautifully ironic if the boogeyman they use to fuel so many truly stupid conspiracy theories actually manifests as a counter to the idiocy of MAGA. A semi-secret, hidden organization dedicated to countering and eliminating fascism and protocol-fascism.
I’d argue that money tends to accumulate with people by the inverse of empathy.
Maybe it’s like investors who plainly should but don’t, or maybe it’s like pure mathematics and the people who study it enough just kind of get too wrapped up to pay attention to much else.

I wondered how it would go over when he pretended he was responsible for the ceasefire there. It seems problematic to claim credit for things that a) may not even exist, like ceasefires and treaties, etc. (where pretending that they do exist come with their own problems for those actually involved), b) personally claiming credit removes the agency of those involved, c) Trump’s habit of pretending he’s a super special boy for - at best - the normal functioning of the State Department doing the kind of thing it always does (except with this State, probably doing a fraction of what it normally does, and ineptly).
