The goddamn Trump Administration (Part 2)

That this is a statement from the leader of a country and not the rantings of an angry six year old on the school playground is nuts.

I really don’t like the term poacher, it’s a very loaded term, if you consider land rights in the UK for example. I find the idea that animals become property of the landlord, just because they’ve lived 0~< of their lives on the landlord’s land, to be absolute BS.

All of this is an extension of laws passed at the beginning of capitalism, where they outlawed a right peasants had for at least 10’s of generations, to hunt/trap rabbits and other wild game, to supplement the food for their families. This so they’d be forced to move to the cities to work in the capitalist’s factories… Most of the “convicts” sent to Australia were people exercising the right their forefathers had enjoyed for generations.

Anderson Cooper sets the record straight and calls out Hegseth on his lying.

There’s even a split screen with Anderson saying the exact things Hegseth is saying CNN never reported.

Do they not know how TV works and you can easily debunk their lies?

The driver does not like trump.

I thought it started when the Jews were being killed for allegedly poisoning Europe’s wells with the plague?

Will his dad love him then?

Oh yes, the action that we consider ethnic cleansing certainly predates that, but I was talking about the legal definition of the term, with regards to the ICC in Europe… It was a term employed to make a distinction, legally, with genocide, which was coined as a legal term after the second world war.

Is this really a thing? People can get tax dollars for inciting a riot?

Is there’s a website to apply for the funds?

So many questions.

To be honest if it were fairly applied across the US to include every single Church that supported the insurrection of Donald Trump in 2020 I would not object to the underlying idea that tax exemptions are not provided to organizations perceived to be involved in organizing or supporting riots. It should be applied immediately, for instance, to the Mormons. But, of course, what they mean is Planned Parenthood, PBS, and the ACLU etc. Probably fucking FEMA too.

Since the definition of “inciting riots” doesn’t include J6 and instead includes whomever they feel like accusing then it is clearly bullshit.

Oh, they know, and don’t care. As long as their base is subject to epistemic closure, never straying from the right-wing propaganda machine they’ll say whatever.

And their base will eat it up, because it provides them with another weapon to beat liberals up with. Because they don’t care about truth, just winning. Even if the win is a Pyrrhic victory and they suffer immensely at the end (see “red areas” being abandoned by FEMA and the end of FEMA, farmers losing their work force to ICE raids, rural hospitals collapsing due to Medicaid cuts), they made a liberal cry, which made it all worthwhile.

And they wonder why their kids and grandkids never call anymore.

I can definitely understand that. In the US it’s meant as someone who takes game or fish illegally, such as without a license, outside the legal season, taking too many of a species or a protected species, etc. Nugent has a reputation for shooting game out of season and/or wasting game animals (which is usually illegal).

I hesitated even when typing that, but couldn’t think of a better word for it. Do you have a suggestion for a better term?

Here’s an example of how it is used in a news segment from Idaho:
