This is crazy, if the cuts are no good for their state why are they okay for the other states?
When the democrats said not fair, remove the cuts for all states or put it back in for Alaska, those republicans are accusing the democrats of wanting to take away benefits for Alaska and Hawaii.
Do they even listen to themselves?

I’m almost as mad at Paramount for this as I am at the Trump Administration. This lawsuit was absolutely meritless and they almost certainly would have prevailed in court, but their priority was to get their corporate merger approved so to hell with journalistic principles.

The word ‘police’ in the last para of that post by Wil Wheaton is doing a lot of heavy lifting, standing in for ‘fascist, authoritarian, one party, anti-science, police state’.
The ‘one party’ thing is not out in the open yet, whilst everything else is. But it will come. And I could have added ‘…police state - run according to the whims of a deeply psychologically damaged educationally subnormal narcissistic idiot only interested in what is good for him personally, with zero interest in the good of the nation or its citizens’ - but we all know that already.
