The goddamn Trump Administration (Part 2)

I just scrolled their twitter, they are all in for the right.

They’re also accepting the mark of the beast as payment.

Oh, he’ll still travel to his golf courses, bebop around in his POTUS golf cart, regale his members of holes-in-one and tournaments won. He may even shoot three to six holes and tell everyone that he shot 18.

We’ll still pick up the tab.

The government does have an Epstein list — here’s the proof

https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/5407135-trump-epstein-files-conspiracy/

If Trump believes Obama and Comey had anything to do with the Epstein files, he’s an idiot. If Trump believes his supporters will buy this excuse, then he thinks they are.

We know that Bondi’s carefully crafted memo claiming that there is no Epstein “client list” — the quotation marks are in the memo— is also nonsense. There might not have been a “client list” in the FBI’s Epstein files, but the FBI certainly has compiled a list of clients.

When the FBI raided Epstein’s New York mansion, they seized a vast amount of material. In a court memo filed on July 8, 2019, two days after his arrest, the Department of Justice outlined some of the evidence they had seized. This included stacks of compact disks labeled “Young [Name] + [Name].” In short, Epstein kept a carefully curated library of videos showing various people having sex with underage women. Even if Epstein was not actively blackmailing anyone, he sure seems he had plenty of insurance at the ready.

Wait? Kazakhstan?! What the fuck do we import in any quantity from Kazakhstan?!

And I say this as someone who lived in the country for six years…

(I got curious:

So…. That 25% is mostly on raw materials for manufacturing, and a 25% tariff on $2B is definitely going to make an impact on the deficit. /s

I’m sure all those long haul flights to Saudi Arabia and back and forth from DC to FL will improve his circulation and prevent any blood clots from making their way to his brain.

Looks like it’s mostly oil products and chemicals. Some other raw materials but oil looks like the big one.

Just a request in from Big Oil. What red blooded American politician would turn down a begging letter from Big Oil?

Venous insufficiency wouldn’t cause blot clots to go to the brain - the blood is going the other direction. More like Deep Vein Thrombosis (painful but rarely deadly) and pulmonary embolism (deadly if there is a big enough clot).

WTF is a “red tallow hat”?

The New York Times published a scathing report Saturday that said when Donald Trumphosted a calendar girls competition at Mar-a-Lago in 1993, there was only one other guest: Jeffrey Epstein.

George Houraney, a Florida businessman who arranged the event, told the Times in 2019 he was surprised when he saw the guest list.

“I said, ‘Donald, this is supposed to be a party with V.I.P.s,’” Houraney said. “‘You’re telling me it’s you and Epstein?’”

Jill Harth, Houraney’s then-girlfriend, later accused Trumpof forcibly kissing her and fondling her, and keeping her from leaving the same night of the party.

Bloody beef fat running down your face and back as it melts from the body heat you generate angrily giving out about immigrants.

They’re really into beef tallow, they sell beef tallow lip balm.

The funny thing is their maga customers are hassling them because while they switched to frying in beef tallow their supplier pre fries their fries in vegetable oil, that annoys them.

The other thing is they’re all concerned about healthy eating so they eat out at a fast food joint ordering all kinds of processed food.

Weird.

That’s a key part of the process. Nobody double fries in beef dripping.

Parboil. Dry out very well. Fry in light , neutral vegetable oil. Dry and cool, and then a quick fry in very hot beef fat.

If you did the main cook in beef fat the chips would be far too heavy and greasy. It’s just a crisping and fluffing up fry.

I’m sure somebody does it. But it’s not normal. Maybe one of those chefs whose recipes for mashed potatoes start with 1kg of potatoes, 1kg of butter…

Back in our turkey fryer days in the backyard we used to have a commercial fry cutter mounted to the wall and go through pounds of potatoes on the weekends serving all our neighbors. If we were in a hurry we’d just cut and fry but if it was just a few of us par boil was the way.

There are a ton of these comments under any Steak n Shake post about fries.
