And all of these companies are hiding why the costs raised, rather than being flat out.
I heard a car commercial recently for a local dealer - don’t recall which or what car - but what caught my ear was the last 2 seconds of the commercial. A very soft voice verry quickly said “current inventory pricing is unaffected by tariffs”. I was shocked at the honesty, but also sad that they felt they needed to hide it to avoid the wrath of the mango.

All part of the current regime’s attempt to remove competent people from the military (and replace them with those willing to unquestioningly obey orders, whatever they may be). They all need to be “war fighters,” even when their actual, useful jobs are to be academics or bureaucrats. Over and over again the evidence suggests that Hegseth has absolutely no idea how the military works, which is pretty weird.
(I keep reading this and thinking, “WTF are four star generals, if not bureaucrats?”)
