Here’s your wtf moment of the current hour.
Now fathers and sons can hunt people together.
They’ve never had a lower limit on emotional maturity.
That’s not entirely true. If the person is not famous, you don’t have to prove malice. You only have to prove that the statement was false, that the person who said it knew it was false when they said it, and that some harm resulted. In the case of people of public interest, which would include not only famous people but also most elected officials and many appointed public officials, actual malice has to be proved. In other words, you have to show that the intent of the false statement was to cause the person some harm, and not just to make fun of them. Calling someone a registered sex offender when they aren’t is not, per se, defamation. And it does matter if the person is famous.
This is actually very telling. They have money. Tons of money. Stupid money.
Yet they can’t hire enough people to fulfill their fascist agenda. $50k signing bonuses. Still can’t get enough people to go full Nazi. Not enough unemployed and underemployed racists to ink that paper and be state sanctioned awful.
So they decided to try recruiting racist uncles and grandpas shouting at Faux News.
Who knows if this will swell their ranks, but it really shows how unpopular these deportations are that they can’t get enough able bodied men to join that they have to constantly lower their recruitment standards to try to get warm bodies to do their evil.
This is so wrong on so many levels.

‘Left to rot’: Farmer reeling over decaying crops as workforce flees ICE raids
President Donald Trump’s immigration raids are already having a devastating effect on agriculture, CNN reported on Wednesday, with one farmer in The Dalles, Oregon, seeing huge portions of his cherry crop decay because there’s no one to pick them.
Ian Chandler “said he’s built up a loyal seasonal workforce for his Wasco County operation called CE Farm Management, about 90 minutes from Portland, with the same people coming year after year and staying in touch with birth announcements and Christmas cards in between,” said the report. “But this year half of them did not arrive, and many of his neighbors were scrambling for pickers too. All told, Chandler said he will lose $250,000-$300,000 of revenue, left to rot on the trees.”
Not only have Trump’s mass deportations and raids eliminated a large part of the workforce, but they have also prevented those who remain from being willing to work at all, Chandler said.

“It’s lost revenue for the operation, which is one thing, but it’s also lost revenue for the workers that would have been able to pick them had they been here,” he said. “The beginning of the season, it coincided, unfortunately, with a lot of really strong immigration enforcement down in southern California, where our workforce comes from, and that had a chilling effect on people wanting to move.”
…
Anyone on this thread could have predicted this.
And sadly, I have no doubt that the Stephen Millers in the U.S. are rubbing their hands together with glee. Their soft, uncalloused, untanned hands. And they will never see this as anything more than a wee speedbump on their carefully planned road to hell.
Because the experiment was done in GA in (IIRC) 2012.
I stand corrected. 2011.
But as usual for this bunch, facts and truth don’t matter. Believe the party, not your lying eyes. Gas is under $2, and inflation is gone. And there is no unemployment. And there are 5 lights.
Well, RFK Jr is a cancer, so that figures.
Well, we’d all be rooting for him if he humiliated the orange shitgibbon.
The law is an ass on this point; of course it causes harm to label an innocent person a sex offender, and anyone doing that knows this is the case, full well. If they know the accusation/label not to be true, how can it not be de facto malice?
I liked the bit where she said “We’re getting a little feedback in here”. Yes, you fuckwit, you were, not the technical kind, but the moral kind. Love it when an attempt at a jokey comment backfires.
https://meidasnews.com/news/trump-approval-plummeting-among-men-poll
Donald Trump’s approval rating has fallen dramatically among men according to a new poll from University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass Amherst), dropping from 48% approval in April, to 39% in July. During that period, Trump’s approval fell among women from 39% to 35%. The numbers correspond with other national polls that show Trump’s approval rating at the lowest point in his second term heading into July.
No one here needs a reminder that Junior is a worm-eaten piece of shit, but here is yet another one.
Rig that election!
That’s a lawsuit.
The People vs. Larry Flynt.

President Donald Trump has ordered his Commerce Department to change the U.S. Census in a move that could significantly bolster his chances at the next election.
After pushing to redraw maps in Texas to advantage Republicans, the president announced on Thursday that he had instructed his department to work on a new census that does not take into account undocumented immigrants.
“I have instructed our Department of Commerce to immediately begin work on a new and highly accurate CENSUS based on modern day facts and figures and, importantly, using the results and information gained from the Presidential Election of 2024,” he wrote on Truth Social.
“People who are in our Country illegally WILL NOT BE COUNTED IN THE CENSUS. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
ah. “highly accurate” as though any was needed, there’s the ‘tell’
Bolster Trump’s chances in the next election? Hell no! We are not going to allow Trump to run for an illegal 3rd term, even if preventing that requires extreme (but nonviolent) measures.
I guess the article may have meant that reapportioning House seats based on a new bullshit census could help the Republican party maintain control in the House, but even then, it’s hard to see how that all happens in time for the 2026 mid-terms.
No onebox. From Politico:
The move comes after Trump directed the department to seek to sanction lawyers “who engage in frivolous, unreasonable, and vexatious litigation.”
Subtext being, of course, that, according to this Administration, not all defendants have the right to counsel, and if in the future an attorney attempts to provide such to said defendants, said attorney will be sanctioned.
If it weren’t such a serious matter, I would write to our governor and suggest redistricting Delaware.
On the other hand, maybe suggest redistricting to Alaska, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, and South Dakota? It might keep them busy for a while and out of making bad trouble.
I doubt the orange shit gibbon knows this, but multiple conservative states would loose seats in the house if undocumented immigrants are not counted in the census. At least, according to the study Pew research did the last time he started bloviating about excluding undocumented immigrants from the census.
