EadesIn response to Donald Trump’s absurd and persistent demands that Denmark hand possession of Greenland over to the United States, a Danish bakery has begun selling orange “moron cakes” bearing Trump’s image, with what appears to be a creamy orange filling. The cakes are called kvaje kage in Danish, which translates most precisely to “stupid person cake.” Kvaj or kvaje also translates to “fool” or “idiot,” but “moron” is the synonym most often used by Americans in reference to Trump, so “moron cake” seems to be the best translation for us. The price for the cakes of 25 Kroner is currently the U.S. Dollar equivalent of about $3.50.

Honestly, that is the kind of thing some one really should track. Really interesting.* Like it is a potentially useful case study. I kind of hope that is someone’s PhD thesis right now.
Right now our President released 1500 known violent criminals on the population and they have been killing themselves and others rapidly but some I suppose are nice people or something? Meanwhile we have legal US citizens like Puerto Ricans getting swept up in raids with their infants and held in
detention centers while out shopping.
*if I ignore the incandescent rage from whatever hasn’t been crushed out of my natural and US Southern-bred patriotism, sense of justice, desire to hold my country to at least commitment to the right idea, and whatever vestigial remnants of the Christianity that was apparently just disingenuously performed in front of me my whole life… like if I ignore all that it’s pretty interesting
