Hope is a dangerous and necessary thing…
Maybe it’s just the wide-angle lens, but it looks like it’s crooked (which is fitting, I guess). I do like the fact that there’s no light shining directly on it.
Does the US have ‘constructive dismissal’ laws? Is that a thing over there?
The fucking orange tint to all the shitheads.
It is just the modern version of
Charles IV Of Spain And His Family by Francisco Goya
Coincidence?
A bit like on the nose as far as metaphor goes.
Dang, I missed out on when the Democrats let Greta have full access to the inner workings of the federal government and let her make all the spending decisions. (If they ever get back in power, they totally should, though.) I guess a girl/woman simply having a platform to speak is seen as equally egregious to giving her full, unconstitutional, illegal control.
This one was pretty good:

I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a hundred times:
“Nothing threatens a mediocre man so much as a competent woman.”
Fucking assholes.
And so it begins…
I know it’s not unexpected, but holy fuck, can someone try unplugging this thing and plugging it back in again?
It really looks like Trump and Pam Bondi worked out a quid pro quo deal with Adams. They’d drop all charges in exchange for Adams allowing ICE and other feds into NYC to do whatever they want and for the Adams administration to not criticize Trump. The federal attorney who first got the order from Bondi to drop the charges balked, pointing out that the Adams prosecution is not political, that they have more than enough evidence of his crimes to get a conviction, and said they would resign before dropping the charges. Bondi accepted the resignation. Subsequently, 5 or 6 other federal attorneys, all of whom, I believe, were Trump hires, refused to drop the charges and resigned instead. I’m behind on the developments, so I have no idea what’s happened today, but a good portion of the Justice Department seems to be in open revolt of Trump and Bondi.
