Okay, this has been going on since 2014, but now they want to ramp it up considerably and add AI into the mix.
You think he’s listening or getting pressure from congress who’s getting pressure from voters?
So, Mr. Musk isn’t accountable, but these people are. If something goes wrong, Mr. Musk won’t face the Justice, but they will pay.
Musk retracts USAID contract he cancelled after CNN reporting
Title of the video is a little off - I think they intended to say the cancellation of the contract (for emergency rations for starving children) was retracted. But, since this administration is entirely incompetent, they of course didn’t restore the contract needed to ship the rations.
Just wow.
Right?
Makes some sense to me in a sick, narcissistic way, as does the WH ambush, when I think about what a grudge he must have against Zelenskyy for refusing to say publicly that he’s working on finding dirt on H Biden (during a phone call that got Tramp impeached). I mean, maybe he’s not so much doing Pooty’s direct bidding as he is just acting vengefully with a simply personal vendetta, and with little concern at all about the international implications.

Sí, tal vez.
he is a petty little bee-otch. he is putin’s bee-otch…
pero si, el es ambos.
He’s going after a lot of people.
President Donald Trump on Thursday suspended security clearances for Perkins Coie and ordered investigations of at least 15 law firms over diversity programs.
The directive targets Perkins Coie employees because the firm in 2016, while working for presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, “hired Fusion GPS, which then manufactured a false ‘dossier’ designed to steal an election,” according to an executive order signed by Trump.
The order also directs the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to investigate possible racial discrimination at “representative large, influential, or industry leading law firms.”
Trump’s order asks agencies to review any contracts with the law firm, and with entities that do business with it, for possible termination. It also tells agency officials to refrain from hiring employees of Perkins Coie and to place limitations on the firm’s employees entering federal government buildings.
You think?
Perkins Coie in a statement called the order “patently unlawful, and we intend to challenge it.”
Yay, she’s a cat lady (though she is not childless)
Welcome to pro bono hell, orange bastard.
"And I’m going to use that bill for myself too, if you don’t mind, because nobody gets treated worse than I do online, nobody.”
Bite me!
A reminder that the kids are alright, even the adolescents he’s being unfairly compared to:
Oh, a month’s delay - that’ll solve everything! I’m sure those automakers will be able to build all the domestic factories they need to make all the parts in a month, um, or buy up four years worth of excess inventory, or uh…
(I know what the purpose of a month’s delay is for the auto-makers - that gives them a month to convince Trump to make the exemption permanent, but I’m not sure what Trump thinks the purpose is… is he hoping everyone will forget, and it won’t impact the stock market?)
All chaos, all the time - it’s the Trump brand! I wonder if they will have functional offices to return to? (Or offices at all - there have been demands that workers return to office after they ended the leases for their office buildings entirely…)
Ah, this is one of those “show me you don’t know what the basic function of the Department of Education even is” moments… what is it with Republicans wanting to shut down federal agencies without the slightest clue what they do? Normally they’re forced to find out the department’s function, and then the plan to shut it down goes away, but it seems like they’re maintaining total ignorance here.
Sure, but they’re too convenient a cudgel to use against Zelenskyy, though. Trump is desperate to deliver Ukraine to Russia.
And petty - petty as fuck. There’s a good argument being made that the bee Trump has in his bonnet over Canada is entirely about the failure of two Trump-branded projects there during his first administration (because he ruined his own brand with his public racism). It’s why Trump’s demands from Canada are incoherent and impossible - e.g. to cut off the (non-existent) flow of drugs.
But keeping the downstate one, with a tiny percentage of small businesses in comparison.
The Randian vision of government as only serving to hold back the rich people who make civilization kind of requires you to think all the basic functions of society happen through magic instead.
