And I guess the whole system of government would change; you’d become a constitutional monarchy, like we are, with a prime minister and parliament. It mostly works for us.

It’s pretty much the same, as far as I can see, when all is said and done. We have a number of parties of course, which is different, and can make for some interesting alliances. The prime minister doesn’t have the same powers as a president, and our senate is a vestigial body.
