The goddamn Trump Administration

Yup. Not in a suit either. Wonder if Vance is going to complain (rhetorical)

And there you have it: this broken little man has never gotten over the humiliation visited upon him by Obama.

Joe Rogan thinks Trump is going too far with the deportations to El Salvador prisons. On the one hand, I’m glad he’s not entirely cruel. On the other hand, go fuck yourself, Joe Rogan.

What. The. Actual. Fuck.

Yeah, we accidently sent this guy to a concentration camp. Yeah, we knew he wasn’t a gang member, but somebody pressed the wrong button. No, we won’t bring him back. Why? Because you can’t make us! (I actually suspect it’s because they are afraid it would look “weak,” or that it might give hope to others, and we can’t have either of those.)

Bacon was also pretty critical of the whole Signal mess. It’s a start, I guess, but I won’t be happy until a Republican files articles of impeachment against Trump.

ETA:

Yeah, I was just coming here to post that, but I saw it was already posted. He’s not the only one, either. The thing is, we don’t know how many men we sent to that prison who aren’t gang members BECAUSE WE SKIPPED DUE PROCESS! This is why you don’t skip that step. But they don’t care. Rubio said…

Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Thursday conceded that the Venezuelans were not all necessarily members of Tren de Aragua, either. He called the group a “combination of people” whose presence is “not productive to the United States” and who were “removable” by law.

In other words, we don’t want the brown people here so we sent them away.

I was thinking just yesterday about Musk/DOGE’s “cost saving” “efficency” claims: If Trusk were to really eliminate FEMA, how cost saving and efficient would it be to have 50 FEMA’s?

Not at all, of course. So maybe the idea is that some wealthier states would have them, then contract their services out to other states? Still, having say, 25 states buy say, helicopters and a fleet of fire trucks and ambulances, and pay the salaries of related standby personnel – that sounds a lot more cumbersome, expensive and inefficient, no?

Of course, Tramp, Musk and DOGE likely have no plan beyond elimination of FEMA. It’s supposed to be a wonderful thing to leave figuring out emergency relief up to each state. And anyway, it’s just the poors/99% – who gives a shit what happens to them?

And, interestingly, the wealthiest states are mostly blue states. This will make Trump’s core supporters dependent on getting help from California and New York in the event of an emergency.

Yep. As we know, he doesn’t actually give a shit about his own voters either.

“Green card holders who have not broken any U.S. laws, committed application fraud, or failed to apply for a re-entry permit after a long period of travel have nothing to fear about entering and exiting the country.”

Tell that to the guy shipped off to El Salvador because of an “administrative error.”

Some immigration lawyers are telling green-card holders not to leave the country, especially if they have any criminal record in their past — no matter how minor.

That might work for a little while. But I suspect not for long…

I don’t believe him when he diverges from the right. I think it’s just a canard to show he’s “independent”… Like everyone other rich white asshole, he doesn’t give two shits about immigrants.
