There’s always the stairs, and drowning in the bathtub.
I am partial to the umbrella jab. It’s traditional. Something from here, maybe.

Much more classy than poison cigars.
Holy fucking fuck:
Remember those “ICE” agents who grabbed people in a court, even though they wore masks and didn’t have warrants… or IDs… or badges? And how outrageous it was that no one stopped them? Well, someone did challenge them, standing in the way and demanding proof that they were ICE. ICE is now promising to prosecute them. For the non-crime of making sure that people doing some kidnapping are actually the federal agents they claim to be.
Or maybe get him to a roof and just hand him an umbrella. He can go out like a malfunctioning Mary Poppins.
Just a push off the roof-edge helps the imbecile go down…
… the imbecile go downnnnnn
… the imbecile go down.
The White House PR team will have to work hard to come up with a way to save Mr. Trump’s orange face after he had to repeal all the tariffs without having achieved a single advantage and having destroyed the American economy.
THAT is a very real question. What the fuck has to happen to generate outrage?

I think only seizing/confiscating the money of the population. Persecuting minorities, scaring students, deporting immigrants (and American citizens) to hellholes in Central America, scaring allies, imposing tariffs without the slightest criteria, infesting the administration with billionaire birds of prey and other things do not scare people. But leaving them penniless from one moment to the next, I think that would make the most God-fearing Americans and those who think there are communists in the country, go out on the streets and demand the heads of everyone involved in a kind of French Revolution pastiche.
Corollary: If you are not happy with what it taking place, then you are no True Republican, and are therefore a Radical Left Democrat with no freedom of speech.
LOVE and UNITY for the faithful. Prison camps for the rest of you.
I’m not saying congressional dems can’t do more, but the question was around trusting Dems to “handle the nation’s problems” when there’s really nothing they can do here. It’s a shit sandwich all around.
Yeah, I just looked up the actual wording of the question in the poll:
I guess I can see how some people might respond to that thinking that it would be silly to say that they trust the Democrats in Congress to “handle the country’s main problems” when they’re currently out of power. Presumably those folks would have answered “neither.”
