And Patel will encourage a little Civil Asset Forfeture if he particularly likes any of the items.
Well, of course! I mean, you donât think theyâd have a freaking grenade launcher without a legitimate license, do you?
Itâs for home defense! Wait, I mean competitive target shooting! No, no, I mean for the feral hogs in my yard! George Washington specifically said grenade launchers are a right!!!
For me itâs like this: yeah, Iâd actually like to have one, especially the old style M79 âreally big shotgunâ launcher. That does not mean I think I should have one, nor do I think anyone else should, outside of the military.
So I got curious and looked this up ⌠apparently they are legal to own, because of course they are. WTF?!? (No, I have no intention of getting one even if they are legal.)

If Trump settles this heâll have funded his next insurrection.
Unless - they just take the money and run.
Neo-Nazi group âactively seeking to grow in USâ with planned paramilitary training event
The Trump administrationâs security posture on the far right is to downplay its significance. Yet experts unanimously agree: it is the top domestic terrorism threat facing the country. Instead, Patel, the FBIâs director, has gone about removing agents from pursuing the far right, while one of Trumpâs first actions in his second term was to provide unconditional pardons, en masse, to all of the January 6 insurrectionists.
Fisher-Birch also pointed out that the Base had taken itself more seriously and upped its activities in Ukraine to the tune of calling for the murder of government officials and acts of sabotage â with the clearly stated goal of forming a white ethnostate in the west of the country. Already, the Ukrainian cell has uploaded geolocated videos of some of these attacks, one showing the burning of a military vehicle and what looks like a government electrical box.
It sounds like some governors need to step up. Have these groups investigated by state police and attorney generals.
Itâs hard to source the ammunition.
And @Millie_Fink: Thanks for finding non-paywall versions of the links I post from VF. How do you do that, so I can do it so you wonât have to, lol?
An LAPD Helicopter Claimed Cops Identified Protesters From Above and Would âCome to Your Houseâ
I tried to find where I did that, but couldnât, but hereâs how I likely did it. Copy a pieceâs URL, paste it here and press save:
If someone has already done that, their saved version will pop up right away. If not, you might have to wait a bit for the site to archive the piece.
(Iâll also note that some sites seem to have found a way around this kind of archiving site. They show non-subscribers only a paragraph or two, and thatâs also all the archive site is able to archive.)
That is already a clear threat to the 1st amendment rights of free speech, free association and petition for redress of grievances. But they only count the second, so I guess it donât matter none.
They should be careful what they value. Thanks to their efforts, it is legal to own the kind of firepower that can take out a helicopter.
