Lions Led By Donkeys Podcast: The Order
Tom takes us on a journey exploring the origins and crimes of The Order, an American Neo Nazi terror group led by a dork ass loser and adult convert to Mormonism.
Thank God thereâs no conflict of interest with that arrangement!
Also - is a GED really sufficient training to adjudicate complicated legal issues?
I wouldnât assume that much education.
no. fucking. words.
i do not ever want to live in a goddamn thomas-fucking-kincaide vision of anything!
that the DHS would post that is anathema.
iâm glad heâs dead.
I never had the hatred other people do for Kinkadeâs work but damn this is creepy. The prominent church, the students gathered around the flagpole in worshipful obedience, the schoolhouse that looks like it belongs in a previous century, the white picket fences. It feels like thereâs some Stephen King-y horribleness going on just under the surface, like this is the viewerâs last sight before getting clubbed on the head and ground into fertilizer for the too-perfect flower gardens. The fiercely glowing windows arenât helping- itâs daytime, the only way they should be that bright is if thereâs a blazing inferno inside every building. Isnât this guy supposed to be the âpainter of lightâ?
Maybe now heâs the painter of white.
No black or brown people in that town. No wheelchair users or visually impaired folks on those âsidewalksâ. No poor people in sight. No uncomfortable questions in their town hall. No queer people in those streets. No awkward history or critical thought taught in that school.
It is truly the fascistsâ vision for the US.
Two churches across from each other on a tiny street with no gutters, lines, or signs, and yet there are sidewalks?
Iâve been all over the country, in many cities, towns, villages, suburban areas, unincorporated areas, and of course rural areas. As far as I have seen, this combination doesnât exist in the States.
It certainly has more humanity to it.
Christ, what a heartless fucking asshole.
