I haven’t used Facebook in years, but my impression is that they now function as a right-wing propaganda site. Whether that’s because the right wing has more money to spend on propaganda, or whatever else, they have no reason to mix their message. Also, they are involved in WhatsApp.

I mainly use it to keep up with family around the country. I have installed an extension that takes care of the tracking thing that Facebook does, but I do my best to use it as little as possible.
I’ve avoided WhatsApp for that very reason. I use Signal instead.
