I made a very simple one once.

Very interesting! Hadnât heard of it before. The plant has other uses as wellâŠ
Itâs a little difficult to find cardboard boxes with this texture. I noticed that some stores in downtown sell different types of cardboard, but I donât know if this is worth it financially or if itâs better to buy ready-made one.

I donât know what itâs called in Portuguese. If I go to the store, Iâll call it a cellâŠ

Iâve used the Google and found that we call it âondaâ (wave).
Our cats arenât thrilled with that herb.
My beasties all respond to catnipânot all cats doâbut the high wears off after an hour +/- and it takes a while after that for them to be able to get high from it again. I have not given them matatabi/silver vine, but valerian (Valeriana officinalis) is even more attractive to the two adult cats than catnip.
They knocked a tea mug out of my hands when I had some tea with it in the mix. They knocked over the compost bucket to get to the spent tea bags.
I tried growing it in my yard, but the neighborhood feral cats killed it all, digging the plants up to get to the fragrant roots.
all of our kittehs are catnip junkies!
BuddyCat would take my arm off for a hit, ChiliDog rolls and drools and licks at dried herb sprinkled on the floor.
mum bought some of these catnip ârollerballsâ that have sticky backs:
i donât get any kickback from this promotion, i just get a kick out of these silly feline companions enjoying their herb, while i sit back and enjoy mine.
i just want to smoke cannabis and love kittehs! somehow, i think they know that.
Those Temptations catnip flavored treats - I have to hide the bag inside a sealed container on a shelf inside a a cabinet they havenât figured out how to open!!!
right?!!!
our guys can find those bags wherever i put them!
ChiliDog is the âsniffiestâ cat i have ever known. she can ferret out the cleverest hiding spot i can find (and that i remember). she will stand there, cry plaintively, and paw at the bag until i do something to satisfy her jonesing.
Young Topaz gets a quick sniff of catnip, and he almost immediately flops over on one side & gets âa rogue back foot,â which repeatedly, mercilessly punches him in the face.
This evening, after coming home from work, I stopped by the supermarket and picked up some cardboard boxes like @KeybillyJefe and @chgoliz described. After dinner I cut them into strips and replaced the old ones on the scratching box.
I hope the cats like.
I see that your ginger cat has a freckled nose; my guyâs gums are freckled.
Too much sun?
No, apparently itâs common with ginger cats, as well as with ginger haired people.
And @kxkvi
My vet explained it is called Lentigo Simplex and additional spots can appear as the kitty ages. They can also end up joined together to form larger spots. They arenât related to sun exposure or cancerous.
She didnât used to have any on her nose or gums. Sheâs always had the little black spot on her paw though. That spot prevented us from accidentally taking home her identical sibling when we adopted. Theyâd ditched their collars and they were switched when someone put them back on.
Edit: same kitty as a teenager
Just listened to this ep a couple of days ago, related to your link
The spreading and enlarging of the spots seems to have happened with Biscuit, and I was concerned but my vet said the same thing; nothing to be concerned about. Although at this point, heâs 18, and something is going to do him in, likely in the next couple of years, so I donât angst over too much. Heâs really healthy right now, although heâs entered the yowling stage of his life; I think heâs going deaf.
