Ours were very polite and watched the Live Cooking Show from on high after being evicted from the bar for paw-creeping towards the ham

Not a problem with a vegetarian pet…

However, when I make salad he becomes a treat seeking missile…

He was annoyed there was a bottle in his box and Ravus was taking up so much room he couldn’t get comfy. Just before that he was kinda hanging half off the door!
The picture of him glaring was taken prior the the one above it where he has happily hopped into his box.

I had to explain to my husband that the smallest box is specifically there for the cat to sit in. We do not put things in it lest he attempt to share the box with the booze.
I bought the boxes after he managed to knock down a gin bottle with his bum and chip a tile on the floor. Luckily the bottle was nearly empty. Botanist Gin should not be wasted

Both of the kitties pictured will also go after greens! Nimbus tried to steal a kale leaf out of the grocery bag when he was a kitten. Tried to scamper off clutching a kale leaf twice as long as he was at the time. He didn’t get very far because the kale kept tripping him

We got our first set of foster kitties since we had to bring back our last mama and kitten bunch right on Election Day. The house always feels so empty with only us humans and houseplants.
Current batch is a bonded pair of huge furry beasts, I swear they might have some Norwegian forest cat in their genes. We just brought them home Wednesday so they’re still mostly in hiding mode, but I’ll get some pics once they’re more comfortable in their new temporary digs. Can’t wait!

Good news, everybody! Bigwig goes in for his initial exam before getting neutered, and the first visit is free! Bloodwork isn’t though, and I know that’s necessary; it should be under $100.

More news as it becomes available.

That is great news! Glad to hear that he’s gonna get taken care of! :heart_eyes_cat:

We’ve been calling our cats our “blood pressure medicine” for years.

Except Dyson. He could be a nuisance sometimes (he’s the lower cat being told to “GO AWAY!”):

If I have a cat moving all around me while I sit and drink coffee, is that a private cat cafe? Because I can confirm that works just as well.
