I hate everything about this. From Trump’s proposed plundering of Ukraine’s natural resources to Russia being handed everything they want on a silver platter despite them being the aggressors here. It’s all about rewarding the bullies. Trump clearly doesn’t understand or care why it’s important to support Ukraine. All he wants is a Nobel Peace Prize out of this at any cost and he doesn’t care who it hurts, how unjust, or how unsustainable any sort of peace “deal” ends up being.
It’s 100% sexism.
That’s demonstrably false. There’s a significant percentage of racism in the mix as well.
I think he knows this will put the “woke” EU under great pressure. A war? It’s just a high-pressure business opportunity.
We’ll see how that goes for them.
They are thinking longer-term as well.
A regional health minister, Yevgeny Shestopalov, said on Russian TV in September that women should “engage in procreation on breaks.”
Per Newsweek, he added: “Being very busy at work is not a valid reason but a lame excuse. You can engage in procreation during breaks, because life flies by too quickly.”
They must be planning to be at war for the next 20 years, by the sounds of it, because those babies won’t be ready for battle for a good long time.
I mean, they probably are, it’s not like Ukraine is anywhere near the end of their list. But these children can also work in the factories while the men are shipped off. And who wouldn’t want to have children in their spare time when there’s such a glorious future ahead of them?
All these right-wingers keep insisting Russian victory is inevitable and yet Russia is constantly hollowing itself out more and more to stay fighting.
And you have to wonder why Krasnov wants to ally himself to what some pundits think is a failing state. We all have suspicions, I know.
