A deal with Trump is always a mistake. I just hope it’s one they can recover from.
Yeah, but I don’t know if they had much of a choice if they wanted to keep the US at least appearing to be on their side… It seems a far better deal than what was proposed a month or so ago, at the very least.
He never follows through on his deals. Hell, he’s violating previous agreements with Ukraine right now. I suspect that they will just tear up the agreement once they survive the war and T**** is gone.
They are being forced to agree to this under duress. It’s an unenforceable agreement other than through force.
Yeah, I don’t like this at all. I hope Ukraine comes out on top here somehow.

True. But at least it was a slightly better deal than what they offered at the white house… I’m guessing that the Germans and French urged the Ukrainians to take something, just to keep the US in…

Yeah, I can see this becoming real. Something along the lines of Russia needs to be allowed to defend itself according to Trump.
That would be recycled directly from conservative talking points about Israel…
