Good video, thanks for posting it. Occasionally I still see places here in TX that are not ADA compliant. I couldn’t tell you why I look for it/notice it, I just do. Seeing places that don’t have well thought out facilities, or missing common sense features really bothers me.

It made me tear up… that young woman was about my age, so now I’m like “and what have YOU done with your life, hmmm…”

People aren’t really aware of how radical the disability rights movement got in the 60s through to the signing of the ADA… I really should check out this whole doc at some point, before, I guess PBS just… disappears entirely?

Not sure about other cities, but Chicago has a Disability Pride Parade downtown on Saturday July 26th.

Show up to show support and learn what can be done to try to hold onto these hard-won rights.

Fucking NO!!!

It’ll be helpful in replacing historians and archeologists, which is the entire point of AI.

Confabulation is a memory error consisting of the production of fabricated, distorted, or misinterpreted memories about oneself or the world. It is generally associated with certain types of brain damage (especially aneurysm in the anterior communicating artery) or a specific subset of dementias.
