Well, damn. That’s so limiting. Not all of us are high fantasy writers.
What about something more realistic, that makes us look back on all those dystopian classics and think “wow, we could’ve had it so good.”

Yeah, I’m not sure I agree with all his points here… certainly food for thought.

This Hundred-Year-Old New York Times Article About Automobile Deaths Is Still Accurate And Goes Hard As Hell
The New York Times of 2024 is a rag of transphobia and genocide denial, but 100 years ago the paper wasn’t quite so cowed by the American halls of power. Back in 1924, the paper was speaking truth to power about the threat automobiles posed to American pedestrians, and the paper’s concerns are as valid as today as they were a century ago. They also go hard as hell.
