Buy these things so I can make money to buy more things that look so much like these other things that this person is suing me because she bought these things that look so much like my things that she can’t make money selling you these things that look like her things that look like my things but they should also be your things so we can make money off these things to buy more things to show you so you buy more things but don’t you show other people your things because that cuts into the money we get to buy things so we can show you so you buy more.
Who makes these things we’re trying to get you to buy? Oh, who knows…sweatshop labor somewhere. But what’s important is that you throw the things you buy away pretty soon because we’re selling a minimalist aesthetic to people who buy things so we can buy more things but still be minimalist.
No android in the Star Trek universe could survive trying to make sense of any of this.
