I didn’t recognize the name, although apparently I’ve seen him quite a lot! Reading the political views section on his Wikipedia entry, it looks like he started out more or less okay, but then started to decline until he lost his freaking mind. Possibly the company he started keeping? 
But yeah, talk about playing opposite your personal morality. Gah.

I have no doubt the rental company is screwing over renters here – they are a rental company, after all, but your rent on an apartment is $20K per month, you need to be investigated, at least. (I advocate for holding the person upside down and shaking vigorously until money starts falling out of them, even if only metaphorically.)
