Obviously, the farcical amount is intended to project “righteous indignation” (and thereby innocence). She (and whatever legal counsel she has) probably place some tactical benefit to that without having to actually file a lawsuit. Real reporters would, as often as possible, prompt her to add a date to the filing. And if the date is missed, ask again… and again… and again.

Not a federal crime and the state gov is a Democrat. No pardon there. Still, let’s see if Trump starts blathering about the sentence or even the arrest.
