Thread of assholes

So I think what I should gather from that is that Musk is being so extreme that it’s making some of his fanbois defect and join the opposition?

If so, I guess that’s a good thing.

(Reminds me of that dramatic Soviet era moment: “I defect!”)

Not that it really needs said, but “the enemy of my enemy is not necessarily my friend, but could be a useful tool.”

Porno pirates are thrust of copyright debate

Judges have accused a famous adult film company of being a copyright troll. What do its many lawsuits mean for the future of intellectual property law?

https://www.courthousenews.com/porno-pirates-are-thrust-of-copyright-debate/

In 2015, cases from these lawsuit-prone entities comprised 58% of all federal copyright cases, according to one study. It’s a similar dynamic to what’s happened in patent law, where so-called patent trolls also regularly test the limits of their patent claims in court.

Hell of a segue, Kathy.
Wonder if this company makes porn “parodies”?

Deposition testimony of Steven Crowder regarding the identification of an innocent man as a neo-Nazi mass murderer on his show. The testimony was taken in connection with limited discovery permitted by the court to respond to Crowder’s anti-SLAPP motion to dismiss. The deposition was conducted by Mark Bankston (Farrar & Ball, LLP). Crowder was defended by Kinsey Lakey (Platt Richmond, PLLC). Shortly following this deposition, the lawsuit was settled.

Bringing it to market just like you did 100 years ago?

So you’ll be using horse drawn carts?
(My grandfather worked taking care of the horses for the big dairy producer in NYC at that time.)

He indicated, however, that he still expects to support “most of what [Trump’s] administration is trying to accomplish.”

“What happened in the past is irrelevant to me,” he told CBS.

No matter how many times that man acts like a complete monster, I’m just going to pretend he won’t be like that going forward. I mean, backward, which is where that monster I mean that man wants to take us.
