A trans friend of mine just messaged that the State Department will not renew his passport. I’m assuming that’s unless he agrees to being mis-gendered.

I really, truly, hate this timeline. 
A bit of light in the darkness, from a soldier demonstrating true bravery:

And the State Department is doing this illegally, because they’ve decided that they just need to wait until SCOTUS weighs in on any Federal ruling and it’ll go their way.
If you think that throwing a whole clade of people under the bus for your own benefit is a good thing, and that it’s OK to tell someone to go to hell for saying that that might be wrong, but that actually saying the word “hell” is a step too far, you might need to go somewhere a long way from everywhere and really examine your motherfucking priorities.
