One of my wife’s cousins is into “raw spring water.” Weirdly enough, he seems to have frequent bouts of GI illnesses. Who woulda thunk it?

Who wants some Giardia?

Honestly, this kind of stuff, along with the incoming (apparent) health and welfare administration makes me very glad we are on our own well, and more or less in charge of our own water supply. It shouldn’t be like this, but here we are.

I googled Giardia and the AI summary gave me this:

Giardia is a microscopic parasite that causes giardiasis, a diarrheal illness that affects the intestines.

I’d like to think it’s enough detail to know if you want some, but then I am not a raw water enthusiast. Maybe it’s supposed to be cleansing or something. You know, get out all the stuff that is…somehow worse than Giardia, which are at least all-natural protozoa.

Just get some herbal colon cleanser capsules at a health food store. Makes time spent in the bathroom more productive w/o making things um, messy.
