I don’t know. There was Grey Davis. He was removed largely due to a manufactured energy crisis.
Gray Davis was removed from office by the voters of California by a recall. I guess I’m confused because you wrote
I read “he” as being Trump?
The CA GOP could collect enough signatures and try to recall Newsom, but it didn’t work the last time they tried this in 2021 and he has two years left in office. I mean, why bother?
Mere speculation on my part. I very much hope I am wrong and the rule of law prevails.
Get the CIA involved and have the CA ANG do a drone strike on Governor’s Mansion; the 163rd Attack Wing has MQ-9 Reapers.
Well, that makes sense; he will have presidential immunity at that point. Don’t tell him.
It’s sure some shitty ideas/energy to put out there.
That’s the world, or at least the US, for the immediate future.
Not all of us particularly enjoy having such sentiments thrown in our faces here at Elsewhere (or elsewhere), when we see so much of it in the news every day, and in our own lives. Some of us are scared. Some of us are very depressed. Not to be a pollyanna or anything, it’s just that there’s already so goddam much negativity.
I’m also sick as hell and that shit’s bringing back my headache.
Please consider that a snide “Poor baby!” reaction to that would lack empathy.
I hope I’m not appearing joyful about any of this.
I can be counted among that group.
Context
I thought selling stuff in stores was far less important than all the financial manipulation, buying and selling other companies, tax evasion etc.
Duh! You have to have more than 3 employees on the clock at any given time in order to sell all the locked up stuff.
I recall a period of time when a person could yell “hello” at the top of their lungs in a Home Depot, and no employees would ever appear. There were literally no more than 4 employees on the clock at the massive big box. As a cost-cutting move, it nearly ended the company as customers who couldn’t find what they were looking for or any employees to help them simply left HD stores to visit a different big box that actually had employees available to assist. Capitalism, eh?
I can’t watch this right now (I will later), but someone that can, please give me a spoiler: this is a joke, right? I mean, I already have such a low opinion of this woman that I didn’t think it could get much lower, but I’m only slightly surprised to see that it could.
(And if true, she should be glad we can’t control the weather. We’d cause it to rain over her head, wait for her to look up, and subsequently drown.)
Love the reference, though it is insulting to turkeys.
Turkeys aren’t actually that dumb. I have serious doubts about MTG, though.
Not only is it a thing she seemingly believes we can do, but she also refers to altering the weather as a form of “geo-engineering” which I find even more enjoyable.
This isn’t the first time she’s referenced weather control as a thing she apparently believes the Deep State Democrat conspiracy can do, so surprisingly enough, she’s actually showing some consistency in her beliefs here. I’m as shocked as anyone.
