Roberts, 33, repeatedly ignored a ban by the City Safe Scheme from entering any member shops in Gloucester, the court heard.
Although she tried to get around the ban by wearing a variety of wigs, her distinctive neck tattoo meant she was recognisable to shop staff in the city.
“That person’s hair is different, they must be a completely different person whose neck also looks like the DragonCon Carpet meme”
This gave me a flashback to a scene in The Mysterious Disappearance of Leon (I mean Noel):
I missed that novel; is there a carpet scene in it?
One main character had her home decorated in the same pattern as her dress, so it was sometimes difficult for others to see where the interior design ended and she began.
The comment I replied to was deleted, but that person had asked when had US soil ever been invaded. Here was my reply along with someone who replied to me. Enjoy!
“It was clearly WATER, not soil, learn 2 read it’s in the name geez”
Or they think since HI was a US territory, it wasn’t US soil?
Yeah, I’ve got nothing. Trying to parse dumbshit responses is exhausting.
State Senator Dusty Deevers (that is his real name, not his porn name)
Looks like someone has something to hide…
Every bit of research I’ve ever seen on the subject makes it clear that more porn — and more non-conventional porn — is consumed by Republican groups/states than Democratic.
Way to tick off your own constituents.
Right. That’d be Busty Beavers.
You would think so, wouldn’t you? The ban on porn that many Republicans want has gotten brought up on FetLife many times. It’s usually someone trying to point out to the conservatives and MAGA types on the site (and there are way too many) that porn, kink, and other related subjects would be banned if the GOP gets its way. These statements are inevitably dismissed with “no, they wouldn’t do that!” Apparently some people are just unable to learn from history, even history they may have lived through. (Ed Meese, anyone?)
You know, the amount of times i’m listening to You Are Not So Smart podcast and be faced with timely and appropriate episodes can sometimes be kind of startling (and sometimes painful, though i do end up learning a lot so its worth it for me).
I just listened to this episode yesterday about Pluralistic Ignorance. It’s a hard episode to listen to because it features audio from the Jonestown mass suicide, but the overall episode is about how a collective will enforce a certain policy, status quo, etc but privately the majority disagrees.
I think that its likely that Republicans don’t support these stupid bans and other policies, but they assume that’s what all right leaning folks want so they double down.
Which I’m guessing is pretty unusual in the porn game…
Also:
FFS, that made me snicker like a teen stumbling over 80’s hedge-porn.
trimmed, or untrimmed?
nevermind… another snickering teen asking…
