There was something like this a year ago on Tikkytok, or some such shit.
The girls at the local challenged me - no chair, just set two of your footsteps back, lean your head against the wall, and try to stand up. I failed.
But then they also failed when I pointed out that they have to stand the same distance back - i.e. - my foot-length away.
If you are tall, with big feet, well, you’re knackered.
Honestly, for those of you here who are married, try the experiment with your other half, and try swapping foot-placement.
I don’t know why I am surprised that a magazine that calls itself “muscle and fitness” couldn’t work this out.
The Muscle & Fitness article actually does mention the problem of the steps being bigger, it just doesn’t accept that as a reason not to muscle up so you can do it anyway!
Yep - I just tried an experiment (no chair, holding the chair has nothing to do with it) and at 1 ½ footsteps it was even easier to stand up, but at 2 ½ footsteps it was impossible.
It has nothing to do with one’s gender, just the size of one’s feet.
ETA - Actually its just the distance away from wall
I just tried it with my male spouse. Our feet sizes are almost the same, maybe .3 inches different. Our height is also almost the same, .5 inch difference.
I could do it at my feet length easily and at his foot length with some difficulty. I really wanted to tip back before rising.
He couldn’t do it at his foot length at all but could at mine with great difficulty.
The difference is mostly down to center of mass and which muscles are stronger but the distance from the wall does matter.
Not three strides. Toe-to-toe steps. Like that useless DUI test. Example, right toe against the wall. Place the left foot behind the right with left toe toe touching right heel, then move right behind the left, toe touching heel, bring the left to stand with feet together.
Yeah, I saw that one and had to back away. All I’ll say is you may want to have that person who knows what they’re doing check over your AI generated work before any lives are risked on the result.
If “sometimes wrong” doesn’t matter, why do we need AI? Just make shit up yourself, no computer needed. You don’t even need to implement anything, people have been doing it for millennia, and it seems to be especially popular lately!
Because investors like Mark Cuban don’t currently make any money from that. What has he ever done to you – you know, besides helping destroy your environment and lying to you just now – that you would keep that from him?
